Budget Autonoleggio - La Spezia

Pessima esperienza, sgarbati e senza rispetto per il cliente. La prenotazione riporta 520 €.Quando gli passò la carta di credito "magicamente" mi vuole scalare 620 €. SOLO DOPO AVER TENTATO IL PAGAMENTO mi vengono motivati i 100 euro in più. NON PRIMA !?!!?! Nei modi di fare danno l’impressione di non aver voglia di far niente e di non voler neanche essere lì. Scocciati e maleducati. ps. assurda la pretesa che si paghi senza poter almeno vedere la vettura per constatarne lo stato (ci credo che poi si inventato costi dei danni che non sono stati causati dal cliente, come scritto in altre recensioni) menomale che non ho pagato e sono riuscito ad andare via. STATE ALLA LARGA

Nous avons loué un véhicule pour deux jours durant notre séjour à la spezia avec un dépôt à l’aéroport de Florence ! Lorsque nous avons voulu rendre la voiture un Monsieur de l’agence nous a dit qu’il y avait un problème car la spezia n’a pas fait de contrat de location, juste un papier avec nos numéros de CB dessus! Résultat avant hier nous avons reçu une facture de plus de 1000€ pour notre location plus la prochaine !!!! Une honte !!!! À fuir !!! Maintenant nous n’arrivons à joindre personne et le paiement est passé sur notre compte ! Une arnaque bien rodée !

Luckily we read the previous reviews of the incorrect address. I corrected it on Google maps myself, Budget did nothing to correct it themselves. When we returned our car, the staff were helpful and accommodating. It was quite confusing to know where to drop the car as they directed us to drop it in the public car park across the street. It is not signed at all for Budget or Avis. It closes at 12.30 which was quite inconvenient.

If I could give 0 stars I would. If you are reading this, please heed all of the bad reviews here and book another company. It is not worth it. The address they SEND to you is incorrect. We only were able to get there from a friendly security guard who thankfully spoke english and booked us a taxi that cost 20 euro. At this point however we saw on budget's google page that they close between the hours of 12:30-3:30(?). Because we were at the wrong address and wasted so much time working out where to actually go we were going to arrat 12:45. The security guard called ahead for us to explain it all and they said they would remain open until we arrived. However they did not. So we arrived to an office all closed up and no-one in sight and expected to wait 3 hours. We ended up cancelling our booking after reading all of the other reviews here (worried we may not even have a car after all of this anyway) and walked 50m down the street to Europcar who were very accommodating and helpful. I encourage all to do the same.

This is the wrong address. Google needs to fix this and Budget should have made this correction long ago. Even the taxi did not know where to go. I did my research and looked at the reviews. If you want the right address, type in Avis and not Budget. The share the same location in a new store that Google and Apple can’t show on their maps (it’s new). We had no issue and the reservation was made in January.
