Updated review (changed to 3★): Two months after the rental, they charged my card €25 as a "fine fee management," which I understand relates to a ZTL violation. As a tourist, I would have expected to be informed about such fines. I paid for all parking (with receipts) and followed all rules. While the contract mentions many terms, as a company operating in Rome, they should inform customers clearly. Given this, I am lowering my review to 3★. The original review is below for reference. I will also be submitting an official appeal to the police regarding this matter. Original review: I was a little hesitant at first since they don't have that many reviews, but they definitely deserve 5 stars. We rented a small manual car (Opel Corsa), and it was cheaper than other rental companies in the area, even with full comprehensive insurance. They also offered after-hours return, which was very convenient (other companies don’t have that option, unfortunately). The lady at the counter was very helpful and courteous (and so were the other staff), and the process was quick and efficient. They even gave us a free upgrade to a compact automatic car (VW Golf) without any extra charge. The car was impressively clean. Since I bought the full insurance, I only paid a 100€ deposit (which was refunded to my account the very next day), and they assured me not to worry about any kind of damage. I can comfortably recommend Enterprise to anyone!

Everything was smooth. Very easy to go to the rental place with shuttle bus from the airport. The car we rented was clean, new, in good condition. The service was quick, friendly

I have been extremely impressed with the service provided by Enterprise/Locauto at Ciampino airport. I used Hertz and Avis for many years and everytime I was getting super stressed because they were always trying to add extra charges such insurances or full coverage I did not required. Enterprise' staff was on other hands professional and helpful but not trying to sell or add extra coverages. Matteo at the Parking area was super helpful explaining all the features of the vehicle. Well done everyone!

Die Mietwagenstationen sind nicht direkt im Flughafen. sie sind etwa 300m vom Terminal entfernt, und mit einem Shuttlebus zu erreichen. Wenn man den Weg kennt, kann man auch bequem laufen. Die Mitarbeiterin am Schalter war sehr freundlich und bemüht, uns alle Punkte und Optionen im Detail zu erklären. Sie war etwas verwundert, dass wir die tatsächlich günstige Refilloption nicht buchen wollten (Company Policy), und hat verwundert mehrmals nachgefragt, ob wir uns da sicher sind. Auch die Übergabe war sehr detailliert, und alle Kratzer und Macken wurde protokolliert. Zum ersten Mal ab es auch eine nachvollziehbare Antwort auf die Frage, was "Minor scratches" (Punkt aus dem Rental agreement) sind. Antwort: Alles kleiner 5 cm. Auch die Rückgabe gestaltete sich unkompliziert.
